x Angel’s Talent Medal Project Chinese Zodiac Pendant / Constellation Pendant Design

‘천사의 재능 메달 사업’은 한국조폐공사가 발달장애인 디자이너의 독특한 작품을 기념메달로 제작하는 CSV 사업입니다. 키뮤스튜디오는 이 사업의 파트너로서 2019년과 2021년, 각 ‘12지 펜던트 메달’ 과 ‘별자리 펜던트 메달’ 디자인 작업을 진행했습니다. 특별한 디자이너들이 디자인한 12종의 동물과 12개의 별자리 아트워크가 펜던트 앞면에, ‘우리는 언제나 함께’라는 의미의 문구 ‘We Always Be With You’와 ‘We Always Shine On You’가 뒷면에 새겨졌습니다. 총 24점의 아트워크들은 여러 특별한 디자이너들이 협업한 결과물로써, 볼드한 패턴과 역발상적인 오브제의 조화, 독특한 스펙트럼의 색상군이 돋보이는 작품들입니다.
The ‘Angel’s Talent Medal Project’ is a CSV project in which the Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corporation produced commemorative medals using the works of designers with developmental disabilities. Kimustudio worked on a total of 24 designs of Chinese zodiac pendant medals and the constellation pendant medals in 2019 and 2021, featuring bold patterns, a combination of contrarian designs, and a unique spectrum of colors. Each animal and constellation artwork is engraved on the front of the pendant, and the phrases ‘We Always Be With You’ and ‘We Always Shine On You’ are on the back.
